Nomadic Masais – 40x30cm, Acrylic on Canvas Painting by Tanzanian Artist Shelina Khimji.
A semi abstract capturing the African Masai tribe who are semi nomadic in nature traveling the Tanzanian plains in their distinctive colors and dress. Their customs are distinctive too. My artwork also depicts spears and shields that they use when they raid. It was created by layering and scumbling hot and cool colours for a combination of moods from cheerful, aggressive, exciting and energetic as a group of people embark on a journey.

Yana Rusnak (born in Cherkasy, Ukraine on 11th November 1993) – Ukrainian contemporary artist. Yana Rusnak’s paintings are held in private collections and are on display in commercial buildings in Miami, New York, Cairo, Beirut, Moscow, Dubai, Riyadh, Kiev, London, and Geneva. In the images of her paintings, we see a fusion of the figurative and the abstract.
