Lydia Moawad, a Lebanese artist is participating in the World Art Dubai 2023

Lydia Moawad, upon completion of her high studies in Arts at the University Saint-Esprit – Kaslik (USEK), Moawad has become a distinguished designer, illustrator and Art professor and is considered one of the most contemporary Lebanese renowned artist painters. One of her most prestigious projects was illustrating UNICEF's children's rights' book in 2000. Lydia has created Arcade, which is an oil and mixed media on canvas. This artwork represents the Glamour of Society going to a Ball in the traditional Arab Cities with the beauty of their Arcade shapes. The engravings on the Arcades are a mixture of different old scripts of different civilizations like the Cuneiform, Hieroglyphs, and Phoenician Alphabet. One of her other oil and mixed media on canvas is named Arabesque, contrasting turquoise with reds that show the opening of the Arab World to the Universe and sharing the Knowledge and Richness of the Arab Culture Society.
