Gioco Pericoloso is a unique, original abstract painting by Andrea Benetti. Mix media on canvas is used in this piece of art. An oil-based paint made from pigments bound by linseed oil or carnations. The traditional method involves layering paint that becomes increasingly oily for a solid and durable hanger. The works are bas-reliefs made from chalk on canvas, then pigmented with different materials (mocha, turmeric, henna, oxides, karkadè, coffee, and acrylic pigments). These works are intended to remind if any need arises, that the style of figurative painting, symbolism, and even abstract art, as the author points out, originated in prehistoric caves with primitive man.
