ArtSmiley introducing Ranjan Chakraborty in World Art Dubai 2018. Ranjan started drawing and painting on any unused piece of blank paper. Back side of the calendars were his favorites. His mother realized his talent and in spite of all financial odds, admitted him in Birla Academy of Art and Culture where he continued to learn various styles and techniques, history and philosophy of fine arts for the next 10 years. He was the youngest to be awarded a Diploma in Art in 1991 at the tender age of 13. He participated in multiple group exhibitions during this time winning numerous art completions in and around Kolkata.
