It's hard to imagine, but Daria Kolosova was born in the Arctic Circle, in the harsh Arctic climate of Yakutia. The Eskimos say, "The Call of the North Star", the Finns say, "The fox lights", and the Chinese are sure that a child born under the northern lights will be talented. And so, it happened! 
Daria Kolosova's paintings are in private collections in Russia, Monaco, the USA, Great Britain, and other countries. Paintings on real copper are her trademark. After all, Daria and her team carried out a real study of copper sheets, developed a unique copper canvas and its coating. 
The technology for producing "copper ingots" is kept secret. This is a delicate piece of jewelry, in which every nuance is important, at every stage of creation, from cleaning the metal to applying the final coating. Another secret is that the picture should not be overloaded with many layers of oil. 
Daria writes in A La Prima technique, which requires careful preparation and elaboration of the image before starting to create. Therefore, copper literally permeates the paintings from the inside, shining from under the oil.
