Tunisian Artist Soumaya Askri talking at Valentine's Special ArtSmiley Exhibition at  DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai - Business Bay (Dubai, United Arab Emirates), which was started on 24th January 2020 and will be continued until 14th Feb, 2020.



She is exhibiting an acrylic artwork named "The universal language", An abstract painting dedicated to all lovers, LOVE is expressed in several languages to refer to the same feeling.

Soumaya Askri says:



Born in Tunisia, on October 7th -1975.



Two of my great passions in life are Painting and jewellery creation. Through my creations i would like to share a closer examination of ordinary things by presenting them in an unusual context.



A fine painter is not only the creation of the original object or subject but also the result of significant technical and aesthetic consideration while making the final touch. This allows me to not only illustrate a punctual situation or thought but rather the emotion or experience of the moment.



Graduated from Sorbonne University in France, holding a Doctorate in Marketing and fully dedicated to my passion for painting.



I am more focused on abstract acrylic painting style, enjoying mixing and combining different technics in the same frame like the pouring and dripping ones. Considering myself as Global citizen I am influenced by a mixture of culture that I am trying to translate in my creations in different ways.



After the entire artwork is completely dry, the painting will be coated by “talens”acrylic varnish to protect.

Russian Artist Olga Sova started to draw at an early age, and no one was even surprised when she was selected to exhibit her works for a town exhibition. She is from artists & musicians' family. She studied drawing, painting, composition, and art history. Over the years of training, she was one of the best students in the group and participated in exhibitions. Artist-Details Artist Sharmila Laghate  Statement for these Ramadan themed paintings: I have painted this series of paintings, some in a set, or paired or standalone, and the theme is the spirit of Ramadan. A mosque can be seen against a night sky and in another setting, it is shown against a cheerful blue sky of a serene day.
 Yet another pair of paintings suggest the glory and gift brought in by this holy month, by the ‘Day’ and ‘Night’ paintings respectively.
