"Wonderment" Painting:
There's innocence and wonderment in the eyes of the children as they gaze at the magnificent and gentle horse-all three are God's creatures- great and small! The purity of love encompasses all the three in that one single moment.





"Bound Forever" Painting:
The mother-child bond is precious and is the deepest of all relationships. Here, the little girl is warm, secure and happy with her arms entwining her mother-there is no place that she would want to be at currently. No mater whatever stage of life we are at, we will always be bound forever in this pure and important relationship. A mother's love transcends all!



"Skip skip skip to my Lou" Painting:
Innocent and energized, their laughter rings in the air as they skip through a sun-drenched field, enjoying each other's company. Though from different cultures, yet, they speak one language, inhabit the same world and share Nature's bounty. Artist Biography:
Born in Kandy, Sri Lanka, I did my schooling in Lusaka, Zambia, graduated from Stella Maris College, Chennai (India) and have travelled widely with my husband who is a Marine Engineer. 
Though never formally taught in art, I have inherited some of the artistic genes from my mother and brother who are skilled in fabric painting and charcoal respectively. I always had a penchant for art and it developed into a passionate hobby over the past few years in Dubai.
With encouragement from family and friends, I had my first solo exhibition of 30 paintings in Bangalore (India) in 2003. When I realized that I could elicit appreciation for my works, I recognized my calling and started experimenting with oils in greater detail. Learning from the internet, attending exhibitions and painting for others (according to their home interior requirements), I developed basic techniques and started improving and improvising. 
My paintings range from landscapes, seascapes, flowers, horses, Indian village scenes, Feng Shui/Vaastu related works and the quintessential figures of Buddha and Ganesha. My specialty lies in customizing art work according to a particular theme, colour scheme and the budget of the client. 
There is nothing more gratifying than experimenting with vibrant earth colours, painting in shadows, showing the flow of garments, capturing the softness in a horse’s eye or giving the final highlights of a finished artwork. I believe that a painting should not only brighten up a room, but also a person’s soul. Every painting I begin, I find a new purpose-one that fills me with limitless possibilities that fuels my creativity and brings with it a sense of peace and accomplishment.

Russian Artist Olga Sova started to draw at an early age, and no one was even surprised when she was selected to exhibit her works for a town exhibition. She is from artists & musicians' family. Artist-Details Artist Sharmila Laghate  Statement for these Ramadan themed paintings: I have painted this series of paintings, some in a set, or paired or standalone, and the theme is the spirit of Ramadan. A mosque can be seen against a night sky and in another setting, it is shown against a cheerful blue sky of a serene day.
 Yet another pair of paintings suggest the glory and gift brought in by this holy month, by the ‘Day’ and ‘Night’ paintings respectively.
