Dr Mohamed Kutty is a senior medical doctor, artist and author who has worked in the Al-Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah and has worked and lived in places as diverse as India to Europe, America and the Middle East. His passion for travel and love of multiple cultures especially the Arabic world, is reflected in his work – the Doctor sees the world through the eyes of his subjects – be it the Conquest of Constantinople from eons ago or the modern views of UAE through the 3D views of the Burj or dune bashing by the youths.
The Doctor has started his Art career with the Group Exhibition in UAE in March ‘94 with Riyaz Komu (a reputed Indian Artist) and since then have been prominently featured in many of the largest Art Galleries and Exhibitions in the world. At ease with a variety of media from charcoal, acrylic to water and oils, his exhibits have been highly relished by the world of Art. The works exhibited in Art Smiley Exhibition are Acrylic on Canvas & oil on canvas.

3D Paintings: The progress and modernity of UAE that allowed it to be regarded larger than its geographical size depicted through a 3D representation – The Burj Painting shows the glistening lights of the Burj on a stormy day & another painting shows Dune Bashing in the Deserts, a favorite sport of the youth.
The Conquest of Constantinople series which chronicles the fall of Constantinople and the advent of Islam in Eurasia – Scenes depicted here shows the mother of Sultan Mehmed, the Conqueror, in tears of joy and agony while sending off the young Sultan on his conquest and other painting shows the beginning of the Conquest from the palace of Sultan Murad 11 where he trains the young prince Mehmed who was prophesied to be the chosen one for conquering Constantinople.
Falcon Series: Back home-1,2,3 are oil on canvas. Artist depicts the national bird looking for it's nest from a distance, circling around it and finally settling on it.
