I have always been impressed by the majestic look of this intelligent and seemingly calm animal. Elephants are a common feature in Kerala (India), be it on roads or temples and so I have had many close encounters with them. With its big body, fan like ears and pillars like legs they exemplify strength and power. Their strides, slow and elegant, clearly announces their awareness of own power!

Yana Rusnak (born in Cherkasy, Ukraine on 11th November 1993) – Ukrainian contemporary artist.
