Russian Artist Olga Sova started to draw at an early age, and no one was even surprised when she was selected to exhibit her works for a town exhibition. She is from artists & musicians' family. She studied drawing, painting, composition, and art history. Over the years of training, she was one of the best students in the group and participated in exhibitions. After school, she finished the courses of Interior Decoration, and she had an opportunity to practice with the honored masters at the art workshop, where she gained additional experience and skills. Artist-Details Artist Sharmila Laghate Statement for these Ramadan themed paintings: I have painted this series of paintings, some in a set, or paired or standalone, and the theme is the spirit of Ramadan. A mosque can be seen against a night sky and in another setting, it is shown against a cheerful blue sky of a serene day. Yet another pair of paintings suggest the glory and gift brought in by this holy month, by the ‘Day’ and ‘Night’ paintings respectively. The ‘Day’ painting shows through it blazing warm colors, the sincere and pious effort in observing fast and prayer during day in the onset of desert summer, which ends with much benevolence towards fellow human beings as well. The ‘Night’ painting suggests that one’s inner light glows gently like the Moon in the night sky, spreading peace and wishes of well-being for all around.
